Good bye 2008

Time is gold. Time goes by so fast without we noticed that it's the end of 2008. Everyone is getting older. We have hopes & aims. All accomplished tasks are marked as victories & any unaccomplished may be proceeded in the next period. I believe all are faded, we never know what's gonna happen next but we may plan for it and put an effort to let it happen, if we really want it to. What happened to me this year:
Jan - Had a few wishes... aim of 2008.
Feb - tak ingat la!
Mar - I received a salary adjustment. It's good.
Apr - I resigned at Dagang Net to pursue a better career path after 3 years (my first job).
May - First time in Bahau for Niza's passing out as a policewoman. Adrianna's 1st time on the beach. Wan get promoted.
Jun - Have a 4d3n vacation at Kuantan Tembeling Resort, Pahang.
Jul - I started work at MNC Wireless Berhad.
Aug - I am 2 in 1. Expecting for second baby. Adik Pi engaged.
Sept - What a very tough fasting month during 1st trimester!
Oct - Celebrate hari raya Aidilfitri at Jengka & Seri Manjung.
Nov - Adrianna admitted because of acute bronchiolitis. World war III.
Dec - First time ever doing korban during Aidiladha 2008 at Manjung. Went to Perlis after 3 years. Re-touch with old friend, kak Nurah.

Overall, 2008 is very tough. Career transition, pregnant and vacations. Day to day, Adrianna is getting cleverer and banyak akal! Proud to hear she can clearly count between 1 to 10 in both malay & english. She loves reading as well as singing. InsyaAllah, ibu & ayah pray that Adrianna will become a good person, smart and solehah.

I finally 'found' her!

Syukur Alhamdulillah... today, I am very happy. I've been searching for her since years ago. Last we met on early of 2002 when she came to Shah Alam. Since then, all I knew that she studied at UPSI till suddenly we lost contact - she can't be contacted actually. All of our friends do not know where she is, how's she doing... Once, we lived at the same college, same floor, same class... we talked everyday about everything. I miss those sweet memories as much as I miss her. Whenever I meet my ex-classmates, the first question that I will asked, "do u have her contact number?"... but none of them know. Fuhhh... such a tremendous jejak kasih! I surfed her name in the internet whenever I free, but the result is zero, but that never stopped me to keep searching and searching. The power of friendship brings me to surf again this afternoon, until I finally found her name in the net with her phone number plus her school name. Yeah, I know she is a teacher but do not know her exact location. I then dialed the number and when I heard the first word "hello".. I knew that was her!

She: Hello
Me: Hello, ni kak nurah ke?
She: Ehhhh, ni ainul ke? (shocked)
Me: Ha ah...

Then, our conversation started. Both recognized each other's voices. Amazing! Both are searching for each other. We glad we 'met' on the phone. Can't wait to meet her face to face. She's actually coming to KL next month. Hope to see her soon. The person is Haznurah Zainon.

Perlis & Teluk Batik

It was a long weekend but seemed so short! Started on Friday night, right after work, we went to Seri Manjung, arrived on 10.30pm

Saturday on 11am - long journey to Perlis, arrived at 4pm, not managed to find any hotel. Searched around Kuala Perlis (ate laksa for a while), Kangar, Arau, back to Kangar and... at last caught a homestay at Beseri around 7pm, about 1km from the bride's house. Exhausted tahap gaban, that night wan bought us nasi bungkus for dinner.

Sunday 11am, went to the wedding ceremony & around 3 o'clock, we went to Padang Besar for a quite rush shopping. What a crowd! It's expected - public holiday! Then, around 6pm, we heading towards my adopted family's house at Kg.Dato' Kayaman near Mata Ayer. Around 8.15pm, need to start our long journey home, and 1.15am arrived at Manjung. Everybody collapsed then. My husband, adrianna & I only woke up at 10.30am! Really terribly tido mati.

Monday, after bed - Adrianna voiced out her special request to go to Teluk Batik, "nak mandi laut"... but it was raining outside until 3pm. Fortunately, the rain stopped. Not to let Adrianna down, she was extremely excited when I told her, "Jom!"... We went to Teluk Batik, mandi-manda, and stopped on 6pm to go to Giant to shop. And finally went home on 7pm. Argh, with a syndrome named 'l.a.z.y', we packed our things, have dinner and went out around 9pm and reached home (Subang) at 12 midnight. Adrianna slept all the way until this morning.

It was fun, but wish could have one more day to take a rest. Two more days to go for another holiday. New year is coming!

Aidiladha 2008

Hmm... hope it's not too late to talk about this recent Aidiladha. These are the pics, could say as the chronology of korban event on last 10th Zulhijjah 1429H which was held at Manjung. Whole family involved, taking the whole seven parts of the cow. Credit to my sis-in-law: bride-to-be for the pics...

<<--- And... this was the most 'tragic' one.
Abah took parts of the meat and mak did some great cook such as hati masak pedas and kurma daging... but since my husband and I need to get back to work on the next day, so we need to go back to Subang that night exhaustedly (my hubby la) after had a fight with the white cow that morning. That was our first time involved in ibadah korban and Alhamdulillah it went smoothly.

Lovely...

Last night, I found a wed invitation card from a friend... written this very lovely quote which is very poetically expressed and very touching.

Tak perlu mencari teman secantik Balqis, andai diri tak sehebat Sulaiman. Mengapa mengharapkan teman setampan Yusof jika kasih tak setulus Zulaikha. Tak perlu mengharapkan teman seteguh Ibrahim andai diri tak sekuat Siti Hajar.
Dan mengapa didambakan teman hidup bak Siti Khadijah kalau diri tak sesempurna Rasulullah s.a.w.

Alhamdulillah, one of my closest friend, Wardah has given birth to a baby boy this morning, 8.30am at Serdang Hospital. Congrats Wardah for the new born, hope he makes your life merrier and happier. I believe Wardah & Idin would be great parents as great as they are. Both are my friends since I was in high school, plus Idin is also my neighbour at Jengka. They met again after grads from university and fell in love then which was actually unexpected, but He knows everything right!

Becoming...

Benar dia bukan Khadijah, wanita kesayangan Nabi. Benar dia bukan Sumayyah, wanita cintakan syahid.

Aishah got 5A's

Alhamdulillah, thank God that my chubby niece, Siti Aishah bt Ahmad Pisal has successfully succeeds in her UPSR exam recently. She got straight A's for all subjects. Kayala Aishah. Her mama and ayah have promised to give her cash if she managed to get 5A's. Hmm... I'm still thinking of what present that is suitable for a 12 year-old girl hah, any suggestion?

Adrianna on medication. She was treated with nebulizer. Taken at Damansara Specialist Emergency Unit on 29/10/2008.

Nebulizer is a device used to administer medication to people in the form of a mist inhaled into the lungs. To read further, refer to Wikipedia ler...

Indescribable

She won't hesitate. Since the decision is in his hand, it's up to him. Everything would not be the same again. It's ruined! Her heart has the fragile beauty of patience... Life goes on. She is an ordinary human being. She is no superwoman. She accepts him as the way he is no matter what happen. She misses him a lot as he was, not he is. Sure Karyn White would understand this. More than words like before. Nice 'book' to read, nice 'story' to be filmed!

I am in 20th week now. Thanks God, Alhamdulillah everything is fine. I can't wait to hold him/her on my bare hands.

Adrianna discharged

Alhamdulillah, finally Adrianna home!
Admitted date : 29/10/2008 (Wednesday)
Discharged date: 05/11/2008 (Wednesday)

She was very happy yesterday. I was in the office when finally Dato' told Wan that she can go home. I rushed to the ward after work and packed the things up. She was so eager and impatient. I asked her "Adrianna nak pegi mana?", she replied "Pegi jalan... pegi mall"

On the way home, she talked a lot about this and that, pointing her finger to everywhere. Hmm... after 8 days 'locked' in the ward, she misses the world a lot! "Bus, lorry, car, baby, kakak, abang, mall, shop, house, flower, Petronas, Mc'Donald, KFC, elephant, horse...", she 'introduced' lots of things around excitedly.

We dropped by at KFC for dinner and buy nasi ayam for her. She enjoyed her dinner well, at last she has appetite to eat some food. After that, we let her played at the playground.

Journey to home was so wonderful. She misses home so much especially her bicycle and big teddy bear. I didn't go home since she was admitted too. Thank God she is recovering a lot, but still need to take some continuous medication to ensure that she is fully recovered. Next follow-up will be on 13/11/2008 at DSH.

Adrianna admitted

Poor little chubby Adrianna. She was admitted to Damansara Specialist Hospital since last Wednesday because of high fever, lots of phlegm in her lung, refused to eat and continuous vomiting. She was inactive but recovering. Hope she can discharge today. But anyhow, need to make sure that she is fully recovered before leaving the ward, otherwise we might need to say hello to that ward again later on. Adrianna sayang, get well soon ya!

Demam raya; still

Aduhh... rasenye arini getting worse pulak. My flu really-really-really stucking my nose. Penuh dengan phlegm! Pastu ape lagi, headache la. Aduhh, fenin... fenin... kalo byk sgt mkn ubat karang, harm pulak kepade si kecik! Citer pasal harga barang, aduhhhaii, tu lagi satu hal. Melampau2 mahal. Minyak dah turun pun tapi harga barang masih maintain mahal. Ni lagi satu buat aku headache bertambah2. Dah lebih seminggu ni tak baik2 lagi. Antibodi aku mmg lemah sgt ni. Doktor tak bagi antibiotik, bahaya katanye... Nasib baik makan lalu aje. Tak bleh focus langsung ni, jap lagi nak kena pegi klinik jugak lagi... Sori boss, got to go.

Demam Raya

Last Sunday, I extremely enjoyed a large sum of seafoods for lunch. Sedap bebenor mak mentua aku masak. And on Monday, I had a very bad running nose, plus the cold aircond in my office, I couldn't stand! The flu really made me headache, tired & out of focus. And on Monday night, I went to the clinic & doc said that my blood pressure 'rosing' up which is not good lah. Pressure because of the flu. Got an MC for Tuesday. Rest. Yep, I need it most! I slept all day long. Lucky my husband sent Adrianna to her babysitter's. And today, get back to work, still with a running nose but for sure, it is much better than yesterday. Got project to deliver.

Hmm, I am not alone having bp problem as my husband's is 'rosing' & 'blooming' too. His is worse. He has no fever, no flu, no running nose but it's simply because of raya meal kot! Too oily, high cholesterol, high starch but too delicious to avoid! His doctor told him to reduce 10kg maaa. That a lot! Well, good luck dear. U must do it. I'm not saying that sure u can do it but u MUST. U need to take care of me & Adrianna kann... so, u need to stay more and more healthier than us lah.

But, the fact is, apparently three of us are racing in widening our tummy. Adrianna obviously did it (other than me, hehe...). We just bought shirt & jeans size 8 for her which is for 8 year-old girl, and Adrianna not even 2 yet. Size 6 for her is just nice and fit but size 8 promising more looseness. So boleh la tahan lama sikit kan. Hmm... my girl is really getting bigger, chubbier & healthier (not forget to mention prettier too, hehe...)

One whole raya week with us, I realized that there are lot's of new words that Adrianna learned (to speak & pronounce). She is able to set her own sentences and ask questions. Alhamdulillah.

It's Friday!

I do not feel good today. I wish I know why. Perhaps I know, but it's tremendously difficult to pour to.

I hardly came to work this morning. I hardly decided what to eat for breakfast.

My orange drink that I ordered this morning was damnly sweet - hardly to be swallowed. The aircond in this office seems like doesn't functioning well. It's hot.

I have lots of data to be inserted into the database today! While it is almost getting done, suddenly server down. Argh!

Wan, Adrianna & I are going to Manjung tonight. I still didn't pack any. It is suppose to be a happy journey. There will be an occasion this Sunday. My sis-in-law is getting engaged with her loved one.

I wish I can apply for leave on next Monday but seems I am still new here and under probation period, it's not good to apply one. Furthermore, it will be an unpaid leave. I bother that.

It should be a happy day. Last day of the week. Eve of weekend. But the holiday mood comes so earlier. Can't hide that. Obviously, I am.

Adrianna recognises

Look at this pic. How serious-look adrianna is? Actually, she's curiously watching a group of men playing kompang at one of kenduri kawin that we attended recently.

This morning, I put my Nokia handphone on the table. I rarely use that one as I usually use another one (SonyE). So, Adrianna only recognised my SonyE phone, one that she likes to 'play' with, but not that Nokia.

Adrianna woke up early this morning and watched us dressing up. She saw my Nokia phone. By pointing her finger to that phone, she said "opahhh". And then, she took that phone and bring it to her ayah. At the beginning, I wondered why she said that. I really wondered. Having to remember that her opah's handphone is Nokia brand and look-alike, now I know... huhu...

That's only a part. Another part is whenever she went to the 2nd room and saw the red blanket on the bed, she'll say "atukkk"... because that's the blanket that her atuk uses whenever he's here, and for sure she recognised that room as atuk and opah's territory.

Shooting

Dagang Net was having a shooting for corporate video, for telecasting I guess. I was one of the candidate been auditioned by the company but it was actually to fulfill their request as I am not interested to be the model of the video... huhu... and eventually one of the female staff from Careline has been selected.

The pics were taken during the shooting session in ICT department. It took hours to set up the cameras, lights & other equipments, but the 'action' & 'cut' ended only within 5 minutes!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=A1YourView&xml=/money/2008/05/26/ccsoros126.xml

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?ID=8672

Antaranya, berita tersebut menyatakan bahawa “the United States and Britain are facing a recession of a scale greater than the early-1990s, greater even than the 1970s” atau AS dan Britain sedang mengalami zaman meleset yang teruk daripada yang berlaku pada awal 1990-an dan lebih teruk daripada yang berlaku pada awal 1970-an.

:: Semoga kita dilindungi olehNya. Masa depan agak kabur buat masa ini. Apalah nasib anak bangsa kita. Mampukah kita bertahan? :: Another info, can be read here.

Entertainment Allowance

What did rakyat do with their salary. We normally spend it for:
1. Fuel or public transport fares
2. Meals
3. 'Mandatory' expenses - baby's milk, diapers, baby's cereal
4. Pay debts - car loan, housing loan, credit cards, study loan
5. Pay babysitter or maid
6. Parking
7. Pay bills - electricity, water, telephone, clinic, house rental
8. Parents
9. A dress or two (once/twice a year)
10. Maintenance - car, house
11. Balik kampung

No allocation for entertainment. We prefer to have free entertainment eg. window shopping, attend free carnivals, company annual dinner (which is also free), open house (if invited), wedding reception (if invited), or perhaps join the company visit once a year which is also free. Ooo ya, we consider balik kampung as an entertainment as well.

We hardly have an opportunity to travel abroad and even within Malaysia.

According to Pak Lah, ministers can only go for a vacation within Asia countries. Why don't he restricted them to travel only within Malaysia. Leads by example. Enjoy Cuti-cuti Malaysia - in fact it is one of the Government's campaign!

I believe ministers are freely spending their salary for meals, shopping & entertainment. They definitely don't have to think about fuel, car loan or housing loan because they have been given a car (free fuel) + driver, a house to stay, allocated parking space, and free car/house maintenance.

No wonder ministers can have luxury cars, luxury homes, luxury jeweleries, luxury etc... which rakyat can only putih mata to see those luxuries assets that they own.

And... our salary is not as much as ministers'. Therefore, I would like to suggest to our present Government to slash 100% of the minister's entertainment allowance to prove that the Government understood the pain felt by the public.

Smart or Dump

Here is an analogy...

A roti canai which is mixed, rolled, fried and packed in United States, and exported to Malaysia, is being sold to the consumer with the price of RM2.70 per piece.

Another roti canai which is mixed, rolled, fried and packed nicely in United Arab Emirates, and is exported to Malaysia, is being sold to the consumer with the price of RM2.70 per piece.

And... there is a roti canai which is mixed, rolled, fried and packed nicely in Kedai Mamak sebelah rumah, also being sold to the consumer with the price of RM2.70 per piece.

Let's us assume, roti canai = fuel

There are a few queries:
(1) How much kedai mamak earns?
(2) Why kedai mamak can't reduce the price of roti canai if in fact they have saved the cost of transportation/exportation?

Kedai mamak has exported their roti canai to UK and Canada but eventually having problem of shortage of roti canai to be sold to local people. Thus, they have imported a few tonnes of roti canai to overcome the shortage but with higher price compared to the local's.

One more question, does kedai mamak smart, or Malaysian, are we dumped?

Pengantin Baru

Last 07/06/08 was Zaida & Zaid's historical day for being one-day King and Queen of the universe, were sitting ceremonially side by side on a lovely dais, with flashing green songket, both accompanied by their best man, kept smiling, and HAPPY - officially declared as husband and wife.

Selamat Pengantin Baru to Zaida & Zaid, may the relationship last forever and ever. Allah bless u... Semoga cepat2 dpt baby *(^_^)*

Menu dia memang superb & sangat sedappp.

Zaida better known as Bedah is a friend of mine during the university time. We took the same course, involved in the same society & sometimes loafed at the FTMSK's foyer with our friends. I rarely can joined them because of different class timetable... I do enjoy my friendship with her & do hope it will last forever.

I took this pic from Dayat's blog.

Frustration

Yesterday, our hampeh Prime Minister has announced that the petrol price increased 40.625% from RM1.92 to RM2.70 per liter. The subsidy will be given to rakyat annually upon road tax renewal where, the 2000cc & below car's owner will receive RM625 which is equal to RM52.08 per month. Is it sufficient? U tell me...

Last night, we filled up 32.9 liter fuel with the cost of RM63. Starting today, that price is longer valid as it will be RM88.80. U can do the maths...

And... last night in Buletin Utama, our minister of PDNHEP in the interview session mentioned that "Minyak adalah satu penggunaan, bukan keperluan"... What the h*** was he talking about? Didn't he think before he talked, didn't he studied Economy, did he? Even the basic economy syllabus describes about the difference between 'need' and 'want'. From his saying, it could be summarised as "Kereta guna minyak, tapi kereta tak perlukan minyak". There is one most suitable sentence = Statement bodoh!

FRUSTRATED!!! Super-duper frustrated...

This increment will definitely give a HUGE impact to the economy, inflation, goods and society. Thus, the level of poverty might increase as well as the crimes. When the statistic of crime shows a rapid rise, then Pak Lah would held a press conference asking PDRM to clarify why the number of crime increases, which suppose should be questioned to himself.

I've read an article saying that "No subsidy, no car tax". I agree on that. No toll should be levied as well! Pak Lah claimed that the economy has growth 7.1% in 1st quarter of 2008. In fact, traders keep complaining about "no sale, no sale..." They are totally in restless situation. Hmm... so how did Pak Lah got the figure of 7.1%? Maybe there's a new formula to calculate it... specially imposed by Pak Lah, kerajaan 3 beranak!

Paku di hati

A nice story...

In memory

Something happened lately. On 29th May 2008, around 6.30pm, I was still at office when mak called and informed a news. Wan and I rushed to HKL Emergency Unit and eventually mak called again saying that "Dia dah takde..." We were totally in shocked as it was really sudden.

Pakcik, our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear wife, and we wish u and your kids a lot of strengths to receive truth. May Allah bless and rest her soul in heavenly peace. Al-fatihah... to Makcik Yom.

In memory of Pn.Sharumala (1959-2008). During my wedding reception at Jengka - Feb'06. She's in white and green baju kurung.

Elation

My husband and I reluctantly presented to the office this morning. We both were soooo bluesss of to be having a vacation which is scheduled on 4th week of next month... 4 days 3 nigths stay at a beach side resort with seaview balcony + breezy cool & fresh contamination free air + besides a reserved forest + 3 super duper spacious fully furnished rooms + and marvelously... it's free, sponsored! Woooo... huuuuu...

Adrianna will definitely loves it. Thank God we are always in the same flow about 'jalan-jalan'. We love traveling as well as shopping. It's just the matter of cash. Haha... While having tight depressions, it's good to search a calm place like this. Hoping that tension can be released in such the most happiest manner without any restriction. Awesome! Thanks dear for the arrangement.

Talking about AF6, I love to see Stacy as the winner as what had happened. She's awesome vocally and has a good posture on stage. She is serious when performing although she is actually a bit childish in the diary - but not as immature & gedik as Nadia..huhu.. jgn marah peminat Nadia. I didn't care much about other contestants but I surprised when Toi has made it to the final and be on the 4th place. Rezeki dia.

The assymetry of current government is really making me sick! I hate this situation. Could somebody please do something? I know I hardly do nothing to fix the situation. What can I do? but from the bottom of my heart, I would loveee to see Pak Lah steps down from his throne. In another most clearest words... letaklah jawatan. I believe that Malaysian is already bosannn with your leadership - does he really has the quality as a leader (questionmark???) I can't comment much on this. Somebody might watching... fuhhh!

Back to the track, I can't wait to be there. A place that I adore... I'm in elation mode - holiday mood giler2 punye.

Celebration

Someone won the 'lottery'. Someone who has been waiting soooo long to be rewarded, to be appreciated, to be celebrated, to be cooled down, to be re-spirited, to be re-polished, to be more re-sharpened and to be promoted... Finally... Congratulations...

Last night, we were having dinner at Chili's, OU. I had the Classic beef steak, my husband enjoyed his Fire-drilled lamb steak, Adrianna ate her ayah's mashed potato and my toast, and Wings Over Buffalo as the stater. We were celebrating someone's victory. We were glad for him, absolutely! Alhamdulillah.

Celebration... Well done dear!

Adrianna - drowsy zzzzzz...

Teluk Batik

"It's a beautiful... beautiful... beautiful Sunday..."
Adrianna's first time to the sandy beach...
Adrianna mandi laut.
Bought a 'Hawaii style' dress for Adrianna.
After that, went to Medan Ikan Bakar,
our favourite seafood restaurant ever!
Fresh squid, fish, prawn, shellfish... yummy!!!
We had orange juice, water melon juice & lychee - 3 pitchers.
Then, went home... everybody 'collapsed' - so exhausted.

Tired

Fuhh... I've got a damn terrible headache... since last Friday. This is not good. I can't focus at my work at all. I wish I could stay at home & zzzzzz. This monitor makes my eyeball spinned. I hardly open my eyes.

Last weekend, we went to Bahau. That was a long journey. From Subang Bestari, we went through ELITE highway heading to Seremban exit. We already stucked with quite heavy traffic jam there. The tension continued when we went through Bukit Putus. Jalan mengalahkan Cameron Highland! Never thought that place so ceruk with snake-shaped road. At Kuala Pilah, we found a stall named 'Lomang Paneh Pak Gah' - unique name! We had one night stay at Era Hotel, Bahau - lovely suite.

The next morning on 8, we went to Pulapol which is about 30km from the town of Bahau. The 'Perbarisan Tamat Latihan Polis' has already started. We gathered near the field to watch the new lines of policewomen doing marching. They were from all over states even Sabah & Sarawak. It was a new experience for Adrianna as well as me. For wan, mak & abah... it was their life...
Around 4.30pm, we started our journey home but this time we went through different route - Triang - Temerloh - KL which was much-much better compared to the previous one. We had our ikan patin dinner at Temerloh near the bus station besides the Sg Pahang river. After that, we headed straights to Subang Bestari. All were really exhausted.

Slimmer?

I received a comment from Eey saying that Adrianna dah kurus. Is she? May be we didn't noticed it because we have seeing her everyday. She might be slimmer but the truth is she's getting taller and heavier. In fact, we are having difficulty to lift her up. After 5 minutes, either u need to put her down or u will lose your balance... huhu...

Her opah and atuk just arrived last night. She loves guests, because it means that she has someone to play with, other than her ibu & ayah. Whenever they around, she seems like to forget her own parents! Manja betul dgn opah & atuk dia!

Last weekend, we went to have makan2 at Sec.2, Shah Alam. Actually, it was me who wanted to have ABC koko at Pegaga Stall... but the taste is no longer as delicious as it was. A bit disappointed... Teringat la masa zaman dating2 dulu.

After that, we brought Adrianna to 'kedai ikan' besides the Wet World. Last time we went there was about 4-5 years ago (again... zaman dating2 dulu) and even now the place is still remain the same. Nothing change... There's still lots of fishes... even bigger and cuter. But we never bought any. We do love fish but I'm not hardworking enough to clean up the aquarium and do all of the necessary maintenance.

Actually, we have an intention to bring Adrianna to National Zoo. It should be happenned on last 2 weeks but at that time, Wan was not feeling well... and last week, the weather was not good... and this weekend, we are going to Bahau for Niza's convocation. Hmm... when it will be? Kesian Adrianna. Can't wait to meet Mr.Grrr, Mr.Oooo, Mr.Aumm... (like in Enfagrow Ads).

I need a holiday!

Last weekend, we went to One Utama. After had some lunch, we let Adrianna walked around the area & had her pit stop at this cute jeep... and there she was... eksyen!
We normally spend our weekend at OU. What a bored. I think we need to go for a holiday vacation somewhere. I keep thinking of an island - somewhere anywhere. Need to escape from these hectic areas and works! Tension beb! But 'vacation' needs some money to make it happen. Rege barang naik! Cost of living increased. Do we afford to go for a holiday if eventually return home broke? Cari penyakit. So, what we can do is either stay at home or go to the nearest shopping complex for some 'always friendly & save' window shopping.

Communicate

Two ladies once quarreled over an orange. After arguing over who needed it more, who had it first, and who first decided to buy it, they agreed to split the orange in half. The first lady ate the fruit and threw the peel away. The second lady tossed the fruit and used the peel in a recipe. If they had communicated more clearly, both ladies could have received a whole orange.

Accident

This is my enchanting husband's story... Yesterday morning, while searching for parking at basement, there's a car coming from the other side with an intent to come closer. It's sooo clear that the car was speeding and heading towards him. So, my husband immediately stopped and gave a loud horn but that guy who seemed like there's nothing in front - with slumberous dolt crashed our front bumper.

Lucky no one injured. It's pretty clear that he was the one who caused the accident. That lack of intellectual acuity + 'blind' guy's car was just a bit scratched but... our front bumper had scratched and 'dramatically' dropped. To make the story short, he agreed to bare half of the cost only. Case closed.

Barbeque

What a lively neighbourhood... Alhamdulillah we managed to form a committee to take care of our community and handle some events to get us closer.
Aman3 Community Night
Location: Jalan Nova U5/67

Menu:
(1) Barbeque chicken
(2) Barbeque lamb
(3) Barbeque squid
(4) Barbeque prawn
(5) Variety of foods - pot luck (sandwich, spaghetti, noodles etc)

We have a few resolution which will be implemented soon such as to build a gate encircling Aman3, to set a road block at guard house and etc... This is actually due to lots of rob cases which happened lately.

Kids were running around... Adrianna was also walking here and there, saying 'Hi' to everyone in her Germany and French languages. So ramah lah! Overall, it's so fun and full night... hehe...

Rongak

03/04/2008, 11.50pm - Adrianna was already sleepy but refused to go to bed. She was trying to climb our bed but suddenly fell down & hit the bedside. Got bleeding at her teeth. She was crying tragically. Two of her upper teeth gone. Worried, so we brought her to clinic, did x-ray to check whether those teeth dropped into her lung... but fortunately, she's fine. Nothing was serious. It's just she needs to wait for a few year more to get new permanent teeth. The picture was taken while we were at the clinic - just got out from the x-ray room where she found really unsecured when we both holding her hands and feet to make sure she won't move. How angry she was... huhu. Anyway, Alhamdulillah... she can eats well, sleeps well & plays as usual. Dah rongak...

When Grandma Goes To Court

I received this story from my elder sis via email. Read this through.. Oh God! It's really funny!

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do u know me?". She responded, "Why? Yes, I do know u Mr. Williams. I've known u since u were a boy and frankly, u've been a big disappointment to me. U lie, u cheat ur wife and u manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. U think u're a big shot when u haven't the brains to realize u'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know u."

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked. "Mr.Jones, do u know the defense attorney?"

She again replied. "Yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted and he was a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mentioned he cheated on his wife with 3 different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.

The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and in a very quite voice said, "If either of u idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send u both to the electric chair."

Ainul A.B : Moral of the story -Identify the identity and background of the person that u would like to set query and think before u ask.. huhu...

Get In Shape

I've read in Yahoo! about how to get in shape in the simplest ways... Here are some tips which may help u guys out there who have any intention to stay slim and getting slimmer. Perhaps, these are good tips to be considered.

Here are a little help getting there:

1. Decide. It takes that moment where you can honestly say to yourself, "This is it, I want to make a change."

2. Commit. Once you connect with the fact that you want to change, you have to commit to the process. You may miss a day of training here and there, or shove a stress donut in your mouth, but the only way for you to get back on track is to recommit. This won't be fun, so you'll have to dig deeper within yourself to create the change you want.

3. Believe in yourself. Just know that you can do this with good eating and consistent exercise. Results are not just for members of a special club -- they can happen for everyone.

4. Move. You're going to have to move your body at least 4 to 5 days a week, but not for hours and hours at a time. Just get moving, even if you start out with 15 to 30 minutes a day. As time goes on and you want to see more changes in your body, you'll have to move harder and longer.

5. Eat right. Watch your portions, eat real food (not out of a bag, can, jar, or microwave), drink lots of water, go easy on the sugar, avoid fast food, and don't eat too much dairy, pasta, bread, white rice, red meat, foods made with flour, or foods with lots of chemicals and preservatives. Easy, right? I know it's tricky, but this is part is really key. What you put in your mouth affects your butt, brain, and mood.

6. Decompress. Try to manage your stress and make sure you're getting enough sleep. And take a deep breath now and then -- aaaah.

I've tried it and believe me its work!

Cerita Tiga Calon Ternama

Personally, I admire this blogger.

Source: A Kadir Jasin

NURUL IZZAH, 27 tahun anak sulung Anwar Ibrahim. Bertanding di Lembah Pantai melawan seorang Menteri (Shahrizat Abdul Jalil).

Khairy Jamaluddin, 32 tahun anak lelaki tunggal seorang bekas duta dan menantu kepada Perdana Menteri. Bertanding di Rembau melawan seorang bekas cikgu sekolah (Badrul Hisham Shaharin).

Mukhriz, 43 tahun anak bongsu bekas Perdana Menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Dia menjadi pegawai khas Timbalan Perdana Menteri (Abdullah Ahmad Badawi). Cinta laranya berahi membara akhirnya ketua bertukar menjadi bapa mertua. Takdir menentukan bapa mertua menjadi Perdana Menteri.

Saya kenal baik mereka berdua.
Shahrizat ibarat saudara sekandungan. Nurul Izzah macam anak dalam timangan.

Khairy orang muda bertuah.

Update: Three of them won.

Sad-is 'sadis'

Feb, 11 - I read in Yahoo! about two golden retriever dogs named Bella (3 yrs old) and Maddie (6 mths old) who saved their ex-owner, Sue Feuling who used to abuse them before. These dogs noticed that Feuling house was on fire and rushing to Feuling's room, jumped onto her bed and started barking. Feuling then smelled smoke and immediately grabbed her daughter, Mckenzie (9 yrs old) and rushed out of the house but unfortunately the dogs trapped inside and couldn't make it. A firefighter who arrived at the scene tried to save the dogs, but it was too late. Feuling said she was only thinking about her dogs. "Everything I lost is nothing compared to them", she said. The fire was caused by an overloaded electrical outlet. Poor dogs! Even though she did not treated them well, but they still love their owner... but I think perhaps the dogs were actually love the daughter, not the mother... huhu... p/s: I missss Nyonyok so much!

Something to tell

It has been a month... Got so many to tell. Lot of things happenned. One of it was my best friends' wedding. Two of them i.e WARDAH and OWN.

Wardah was officially Edin's wife on 22nd December 2007. Own and Dilla married on 15th December. So sorry guys especially to Own, we couldn't attend your wedding at Jengka. Lucky we've got the chance to go to Kuala Dipang. Wardah was soooo anggun! Sooo unsangkarable how both of them can meet again and fall in love. Huhu...

We were in the same high school, same class, same goals... Own and Wardah, both are my bestfriends. After PMR, I moved to another school, Wardah then followed but she went to Penang. So, only Own left... with Edin. After SPM, Own, Wardah and I went to the same U but at different branches. Until one day, when all graduated, we met again - reunion. We change contact numbers... without us knowing, Edin started to keep in touch with Wardah until they deeply falling in love and decided to get married... and eventually 22nd December was a history.

Own and Dilla met in Penang in a bus while both were on the way back to Pahang. Sat next to each other, started the conversation and thank God, it last for-ever... As to date, I did not get any chance to see Own's wed pics yet. Hope can meet him this weekend.

To Wardah, Edin, Own and Dilla... Hope u guys happy always with your soulmates and may Allah bless our relationship and our life. Hope He'll give more and more rezeki to us. InsyaAllah.

* Time goes by... Adrianna is getting bigger and cleverer. She is 1-year, 2-month and 17-day old today... still learning how to walk. I promised her to get a bicycle once she walks. Whenever we went to shopping complex and walking through the toys or bicycle area, she will excitedly pointing her fingers to it and keep shouting... I wish I could buy one... but still, promise is a promise... She need to walk first, only then I'll buy her one.

* One story of my good friend in Dagang Net... could say my ex-colleague, Wani. She moving out from Dagang Net last month reluctantly and happily (of course! She received a much2 better offer!!). I still remember when we both pregnant, that was our precious memory. I asked her a lot about pregnancy, about being a mother etc. We delivered on November 2006. Below is the pics of us, I name it as "Mak Yunus and Ibu Adrianna".

* Thank God, Alhamdulillah we'll be on a long holiday. Hope can optimise these 4 days with lots of fun moments with our loved ones. Wan, Adrianna and I are going back to Jengka. Wish we could see some of our old friends there including Wardah, Edin, Own and Dilla. The last we met Own was at HUKM when I was just given birth to Adrianna. Hmm.. they might surprise after one year plus and see how big Adrianna is now. Well... happy holiday guys!
